Hello! Thank you for taking the time to check out my blog. I know there are a million and one blogs to chose from on the web, so I am delighted you are giving mine a few minutes of your time. In this place, I will be sharing tidbits of my life, my thoughts on various topics, and other random ramblings. However, the main focus of this blog will be about digital scrapbooking and photography.
I have been scrapbooking on paper for 10+ years, and switched completely over to digital scrapbooking 4 years ago when my son was born. I have been a part of the Digital Scrapbook Place community since that time. I currently use Photoshop Elements as my editing software. It is a great product for both newbies to the digital design world, and for those who just can't justify the funds for the Adobe Creative Suite product line. I also recently began to design my own digital scrapbook page kits - I will post these as freebies from time to time!
I am newer to the world of digital photography. I am shooting with a Nikon D40 these days, and am just learning to expand my ability past the point-and-shoot cameras I have used in the recent past. I just finished reading Scott Kelby's The Digital Photography Book which offers some great techniques to amatuers, and is a very easy read. He's got a great line of other books to choose from for those of varying skill levels!
